Shelley Dean Kilpatrick

I received a B.A. in sociology and psychology from Baylor University, and an M.A. and Ph.D. in social psychology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. I also completed a postdoctoral fellowship from the National Institute for Healthcare Research in Rockville, MD (Supervisor: Michael McCullough. 1998-2000) and served as Project Director at the UCLA/RAND Center for Adolescent Health Promotion from 2000 to 2003.

Currently, I'm a professor of psychology and chair of Behavioral Sciences at Southwest Baptist University, where I teach Social Psychology, Statistics, Research Methods, and a specialty course in Altruism and Prosocial Behavior. I am also the faculty advisor for Psi Chi.
